Louisa Swaden is a writer, speaker, and lifelong questioner known as The Existential Biker. Formerly a corporate executive, she traded boardrooms for backroads — rediscovering herself through motorcycling, adventure, and Stoic philosophy. Since returning to two wheels in her fifties, Louisa has become a land speed record holder at Pendine Sands in Wales, raced at Bonneville, served as an Ambassador for the Women Riders World Relay, and guided motorcycle tours across Europe and Africa.
Her debut book, The Stoic Rider, blends ancient philosophy with real-world grit — part memoir, part mindset guide, and part meditation on courage, presence, and transformation. Known for her thoughtful voice and quiet defiance, Louisa writes for those who’ve wrestled with fear, failure, or the weight of modern life — and are ready to meet it all with clarity and purpose.
When she’s not riding, she’s writing, lifting, or walking her dog somewhere quiet — always listening for the next question worth following.
