Freya was born and raised in Iceland, a land fraught in mystery and dark beauty. Her ancestry certainly lends a creative hand in building journeys through a world brimming with secrets and mysteries. She has worked in the film industry since 2010, and she dreams of one day seeing her story on the big screen. Freya is a member of the Horror Writers Association and the Women's Fiction Writers Association, and she writes novels and short stories in the Psychological Horror and Fantasy genres. She was a semifinalist for the Killer Shorts Horror Short Screenplay for Season 6 with her short story The Red Glove, and twice a second rounder in the Launch Pad Prose Competition for her completed horror/fantasy novel, The Hidden.
