Heli Kijanen is a former RCMP officer from Canada who became a passionate advocate for justice and mental health awareness after experiencing workplace harassment within the royal Canadian mounted police speaking out about her experiences contributed to a landmark $100 million class action settlement addressing systemic discrimination within the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police).

In addition to her law-enforcement background, Heli has a paralegal diploma, and currently practices law assisting individuals who have been victims of crime. Heli is also a fitness, champion after losing 150 pounds she won a competition in Ottawa, Canada for most inspirational athlete! Along with being a motivational speaker she has also held her own talk show that focused around background acting.

Heli is an aspiring actress. She is an actress apprentice in the Canadian union of actors and she has had the privilege of working with Jerry, O’Connell, Billy Campbell, Ian Somerhalder and many more. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her experiences and looks forward to an amazing future in writing and public speaking!

Heli has recently begun writing her life story in volumes which she publishes on Amazon titled Sisu: The Power to Rise, her first volume detailing her experience with the RCMP, her second volume details her Price is Right win with Drew Carey in Los Angeles. Heli’s third volume was a book of poems detailing past relationships and how these people influenced her life and most recently her fourth volume was detailing her weight loss and how to assist people in accomplishing their weight loss goals.

Heli lost her father a couple years ago he was a huge influence in her life, after caring for him up until his passing, she has moved back home to Northern Ontario to take care of her mother. Life is one big adventure and that’s exactly how she likes to live her life!
