Ignacio André is the author of Echoes of My Family, a historical novella based on the true story of his family in Montevideo, Uruguay between the 1880s and 1920s.
A descendant of the Platero family, he wrote this book as a tribute to his grandmother Mima and to preserve a story passed down through generations.
