Ilia Debolskii holds a Master’s degree with honors in Dramaturgy from VGIK. His screenplay Obe Dve (co-written with Lyudmila Kovalyova), the dramedy, which confronts reproductive violence against women, was released on 1,700 screens. Debolskii’s last historical drama screenplay BLOIS 1171 has been recognized by several international competitions, including the LA International Screenplay Awards, UK Film Festival Screenplay Competition, Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards, and Richmond International Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
