I’m a retired Pagan Elder who has written articles and letters published in Pagan and Fortean periodicals and I still speak at spiritual conferences on my area of expertise; Germanic runes and Norse myth. I am 63, originally trained in graphic arts, and have had a creative career, starting after university with SFX animation for Disney’s Who Framed Roger Rabbit, (credited as ‘Derek Wood’). I’m now a professional magician, in wizard guise.
I'm also a popular, convincing, Santa impersonator – who has built the screenplay for 'Wonderworker' around St Nicholas’s hagiography, European folklore and fifteen years of giving plausible answers to children’s doubts.
I'm also currently looking for an agent for my first Fantasy novel.
