Hi, I'm a horror novelist fascinated by human psycology and time. I love pushing my characters to the very extremes of sanity, and then seeing how they find their feet. I also seem to keep writing novels with signicant time travel components in them! The Dream Reaper - submitted as my entry - first came into ideation when I was at university, reading about pocket universes. It got me considering time bubbles (a pocket universe of sorts), and the changes to the human psycology that would be revealed if specific types of characters were forced to endure the same day on repeat, especially with the knowledge that outside their event horizon reality continued unpeterbed.

Stephen King has been a huge influence, It a notable mention as my favourite novel. Pet Sematary and Misery are further examples of character study type novels, where the character's psycology drive the plot, and their journey into madness / grief is what hooks the reader in. I'm currently reading The Dark Tower series for the first time!

When I'm not writing, I am a software development engineer at Amazon, having graduated Warwick University with a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
