Bio: Suzy Evans, MFA: From writing about gangsters to gallaxies, Suzy is a storyteller who creates enthralling escapes. Her childhood was a real-life version of The Sopranos. To survive, rather than creating a single imaginary friend, she invented universes. A full scholarship to Columbia University allowed her to create award-winning films and screenplays.
Bio: Joyce Prigot, PhD: Joyce's father died when she was eight, leaving her caretaker of her mother, aunt, and older brother – all of whom were severely bipolar. Curious to learn about healthfully functioning people,she became a research psychologist. When writing fiction, her science training allows her to ground imaginative systems logically and to bring complex characters to life.
