J. T, (Tim) White is a retired lawyer living in Atlanta GA whose daughters, Lauren Myracle and Susan Rebecca White, both of whom are successful authors, encouraged him to take up creative writing to keep him from becoming a nuisance to their mother. Tim completed the Georgia State University Creative Writing curriculum in 2009 and began writing short stories. Six years ago he turned his attention to writing a fictional story inspired by events, people and experiences in his own life and Riley & Ben was conceived. Deeds Publishing brought the story to life in March 2021. Tim completed his pre-law curriculum at the University of Tennessee-Martin (Magna Cum Laude) in 1960. His JD is from Vanderbilt University (1964 Order of the Coif and Law Review). His LLM is from Emory University (1972 The Universal Commercial Code). He has retained his law license and continues to work Pro Bono, primarily for the Atlanta Eritrean Community. His wife of 48 years, Ruth Campbell White, is a portrait and still life artist. They have a blended family of six children, thirteen grandchildren and a King Charles Cavalier.
