She staged theater productions like her award-winning comedy “Garage Sale” in Arkansas. Her “House Call,” a Writer’s Digest 1999 Grand Prize winner, was optioned by William J. Grabowski, reviewer for The Horror Show magazine.
Julie worked at RMCC Radio/TV while collaborating on screenplays and indie films under management of the late Jeff Ross. She shot and produced a Hot Wheels “Beat That” competition video.
Insight for Grave Jumper, Fade-In’s 2005 semi-finalist, came from State Police Investigator Russ Welch’s crime reports, plus Unraveled, his undercover exchange with runners Billy Bottoms and Barry Seal. Julie has seven published books, works as an editor, and hosts the WCDH Write Now podcast.
