June Yang was born and raised in Singapore. She majored in Sociology at Singapore Management University with special interest in Gender Studies and Modern Society. Years later, she completed a Masters in Business Administration at McGill University in Canada and subsequently spent a decade and a half in the social media and digital space. She enjoys books of the thriller, romance, fantasy and science fiction genres that encourage readers to raise philosophical questions about life, specifically about identity and culture. In her spare time she plays the piano and practices evolutionary astrology with a focus on past lives and soul evolution, and has three beautiful children who often do their best to prevent her from writing anything. The Foreign Wife is her first novel.
