With an M.A. from Stanford, Kincaid came to Hollywood as director Lawrence Kasdan’s AFI Writing and Directing Intern and now works as a Writer/Producer in Movie and TV Advertising, specializing in female markets (kincaidjones.com). She also writes screenplays and HBO docs, and has won a few Clios and an Emmy. Her mentor on this book was Stephen Molton, Columbia Professor, Cold War expert, and Bloomsbury Press Pulitzer Prize Nominee. Kincaid does not typically refer to herself in the third person.
