Born in the real Queen City and raised in the backwoods between farm fields, L. N. Holmes is your typical weird Midwesterner. Her dark, epic fantasy novel, The Floating Castle, is an Indie Ink Awards finalist. Her short stories can be found in Space, Collisions, a micro-chapbook first published by Ghost City Press, and several magazines and journals such as Newfound, Barren Magazine, Vestal Review, and F(r)iction, among others. When she’s not writing or reading, she directs the Small Spec Book Awards, advocates for independent bookstores and authors, and plays with her sweet son.
