Louise Mangos

Louise writes novels, short stories and flash fiction, which have won prizes, placed on shortlists, and have been read out on BBC radio. Her short fiction has appeared in more than twenty print anthologies and magazines. Some of these are also online, links to which can be found on her website. She has published two full-length suspense novels with HQStories. Another suspense novel, written for her Masters in crime writing at UEA, is forthcoming with Red Dog Press in early 2022. "Six Fatal Flaws" was shortlisted in the Boldwood Books crime competition and the Flash 500 novel opening competition in 2021. In addition, Louise has also completed a medieval mystery set in the Swiss valley where she lives with her Kiwi husband and two sons. She is currently working on a mystery about a failing crime writer in a style reminiscent of Tom Sharpe. Louise is actively seeking agent representation.
