LPhilipp

I was born in Kuwait to British parents in the late 1950s, arriving in the UK in 1960. We moved around, so I filled a sometimes lonely childhood imagining fantastical adventures and heroic epics. I struggled to read and write until an inspirational teacher in junior school unlocked the joy of language. I fell in love with creative writing and storytelling during my teenage years, further encouraged by my mother becoming a published author. Unfortunately, serving in the RAF followed by a life of engineering got in the way!

My writing desire was curiously revived one day on a bus in 2011 and has never stopped since. I found out that I love to write whilst travelling or waiting for a journey to start. I’m often scribbling away on buses, trains, planes and in airports. You might have already seen me somewhere.

My head is always buzzing with ideas and ready for exploration. Life’s experiences, working and living in many places in the UK and abroad, have provided plenty of opportunity and material.
