Meggie Kern

Hello~ My name is Meggie.

I was born in the northeastern United States, but have largely lived abroad in my adult life. I've traveled the world as a private chef and superyacht chef, having worked for known plutocrats, celebrities, technological titans, and middle eastern royalty. My love of travel, nature, culture, ethnic foods, and diversity of thought, language, and creative expression are deeply reflected in my writing.

BA Literature & Linguistics, Flagler College, 2008 ~My thesis was on 'The Exploration into Linguistic elements of Humor'

MS Biology, Edinboro Univeristy, 2015 ~My thesis was on 'Medicinal Properties of Edible Plants in the Peruvian Amazon,' where I lived and worked in extremely remote conditions of Kosnipata Valley in the Manu Biosphere.

I adore Fantasy worlds and Storytelling. Currently reside in Los Angeles with my two dogs, Remy and Moonie, and work as a private chef for a billionaire family on an estate in Beverly Hills.

Current Writing: Working on a five book Fantasy series titled, "Resonance of the Seven" and actively searching for a literary agent to pitch my first book in the series, "Beneath the Fog & Fray"
