Having witnessed the experiences of a friend, I developed this dark, psychological tale of how a seemingly confident, strong woman can find herself trapped in a world of domestic abuse yet never becomes the victim. Love Letters is my second book and though the first didn’t achieve representation it was called in by several agents and described as extremely promising. I used their feedback and lessons learnt to write Love Letters, which was long-listed for the Lucy Cavendish Award. I am currently working on another book in the same genre. I have sold stories to women’s magazines and read my own short story on BBC radio.
