Paula Seager was born in Ireland and is a PR consultant working between Brighton and Lisbon. Her writing prizes include 2nd place in the Literary & Upmarket Fiction category of I Am In Print 2026 for The English Senhora, 3rd place in the Fiction Factory First Chapter Competition 2025 and finalist in the Page Turner Writing Awards 2025 for Alone in the Rainforest; and Bookouture winner in Nov Nov 2025 for the same book under the title Faithless Vows. The Beta Program was a finalist in the Page Turner Writing Awards 2024, and her short story Cloak and Top Hat was printed in the Westhill Writers Anthology Brighton & Beyond in 2022.
