Peter Morris lives in Brisbane, Queensland, with his wife of nearly four decades. He has been clean and sober for more than thirty years, a journey that has profoundly influenced both his life and his writing.
His debut novel, The Long Grass, explores crime, addiction, redemption and the lasting consequences of our choices. Set in Queensland in 1985, the novel combines a police investigation with a deeply human story about guilt, recovery and the search for forgiveness.
When he's not writing, Peter enjoys travelling, fishing, boating and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
