Renee Winzar has a head overflowing with ideas and a strong writing discipline developed working for a professional consulting firm.
Renee’s unusual career journey has included medicinal chemistry, professional grant writing, science policy with the Victorian Government and business development for an AI centre; but writing fiction has always been the one constant across the past 20 years.
Having completed short courses on writing creative fiction at RMIT University and online, Renee’s stories have been short listed for the Darebin Mayor’s Writing Awards and long listed for the inaugural Fable Short Story Competition.
She is currently looking for a home for her first novel and polishing the final draft of her first feature-length screenplay.
