My background is in Investment banking and Finance, and I have been a public company finance director and chairman for twenty years, in the biotech industry. I was chairman of the company which invented the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine, for example.
I'm 62 and have been writing for two years - I originally started to help manage work stress, but it has got a little out of hand! So far I have completed seventeen novels with two others half-completed. Three (and a half) of these are in a thriller series beginning with The Tune Without The Words, and another three (and a half) are in a fantasy series beginning with Dragons And Their Wrath. The other ten are all stand-alone novels. I prefer to write suspense novels that have a strong romance arc, or romance novels that have a strong suspense arc, but I have written those three fantasy books, a technothriller, and a romcom.
I live in Buckinghamshire with my wife Harriet and two wire-haired dachshunds, Ludo and Oskar.
