Ruth Amanda is Canadian born and bred, with a passion for writing and illustrating creative stories for young people. Specializing in children's picture books, she is currently working on several middle grade projects. She has been an avid reader her entire life and loves to share stories with others through oral story telling as well as the written word. Her work is influenced by her travels and experiences. From Canada's far north to the tropical climes of the Caribbean, her work is imbued with the vibrancy of many cultures and her surroundings.
