Sheelagh is a visually impaired author based in the UK who has been writing since she could hold a pen.

In-Between Girl is the first book in The Birchwood Inheritance. Book 2 – *The Lost Daughter* will be published in Spring 2026.

Sheelagh is a member of the groundbreaking Resolute Books. A writer’s collective of poets and award-winning authors of all genres and she is amember of the Society of Authors with Disabilities & Chronic Illness (Sof A GB). She regularly contributes to the Association of Christian Writers GB, acclaimed More Than Writers and the US Wild Ink Publishing blogs. Her novels weave together suspenseful plots, exploring how people find their inner worth and place in the world. She freelances for radio, magazines, and anthologies across a wide range of genres. She also writes under the name SHEELAGH WHITE

When not writing, she loves being taken for a walk by her black Labrador, playing chess, quilting, and travelling. You can find her on Facebook, Instagram and BlueSky.

FUN FACT*:* If her name or face rings a bell, it might be because she appeared on BBC’s Children in Need DIYSOS Big Build in 2019 when the Parish Centre of the Blackburn church she was Vicar of was converted into accommodation for a local homeless charity. She also appeared on local radio and Good Morning Britain.
