SCOTCH WICHMANN is a writer/director, performance artist, comedian, hacker, and occultist in Los Angeles.
Co-nominated for Best Comedy and Best Stunt at the Hollywood Fringe, Scotch attracted a swarm of press from CNN, NPR, and the NY Times after launching METH COFFEE, a cracked-out coffee brand that was eventually banned by the entire state of Illinois.
His caper comedy novel TWO PERFORMANCE ARTISTS won the Silver Medal for Best New Voice at the 2015 Independent Book Publisher's Association Awards after parts of the book were (allegedly) plagiarized by Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf.
In 2020 he wrote and directed RATTLE RATTLE, a surreal short that was an Official Selection at 9 U.S. film festivals, and his espionage thriller script DARK SILO -- co-written by writer-producer KayDee Kersten -- won Best Original Screenplay at the 2020 Burbank International Film Festival.
A Ph.D. candidate in parapsychology, Scotch recently drafted THE OCCULTIST, a dark thriller series pilot about a paranormal detective battling a lethal black magic syndicate in Hollywood.
