Having been encouraged by his daughter, over many years, to write a novel Seamus Connolly recently published his first book - Black is the Colour.
The crime fiction novel is set in his home town of Paisley, Scotland, and combines the gritty reality and challenges faced by a community reeling from the de-industrial demise of it's heartlands with the dreams and aspirations of parents and young people. All wrapped up in great humour and lovable characters.
Seamus Connolly still stays local to Paisley and is married with two children and works in local government.
