I spent many years as an advertising creative director working all over the world from New Zealand and Australia to Asia and the Middle East. I’m now a university lecturer and author of three novels. My plays, The Ways of the Country and Jam were staged in Leeds, Southend and Chelmsford.. The Sleepwalker’s Introduction to Flight, was published by Macmillan in 2008 and by Pan and Grazanti. Some Rise by Sin and its sequel, What We Leave Behind, are published by Deixis Press. I have an MSc in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and a Scottish BAFTA nomination.
