Stella Fletton

Author bio – A. T. Flowers / Stella Fletton

I grew up in England in a dysfunctional family. Learning difficulties meant I left school with few qualifications, so I studied at free council-provided job clubs and evening classes for years to become an equality champion in charities, (Mind, NCCL) the public sector, (Local Council, NHS) and the police service (Hertfordshire Constabulary).

In 2018 I emigrated to Saint Lucia with my Druid, boardgame geek husband 😉 and determined to complete my lifelong dream of writing romantic fantasy stories called The Salliniquai Chronicles. These six books are based in the fictional county of Rowanshire, England, with strong links to Saint Lucia.

As a writer from an underrepresented group, my writing reflects aspects of my life like my strict Catholic upbringing, my conversion to free spirituality, and embracing mixed relationships.

The Dream Knight synopsis

It takes forty years before the dream knight finds the first book hidden in a seedy chamber close to the Vatican City in Rome. He finds the second book with the help of the Sallie incarnation in a boutique bookshop's fair in the Borough market. Book three is found by travelling to New York where a planned terrorist attack takes him from the statue of Liberty to Alcatraz in San Francisco, then back to New York a week before 9/11.

He finds book four with the help of the Sallyanne incarnation at a book fair in South London. Book five is discovered in The White House, and in this chapter, the dream knight rehashes many of his worldly escapades. Book six was in the Land of Ludonia; the subconscious realm, where he cannot go. To retrieve this book, he must wait until the Sallee incarnation re-enters the human physical realm and her hospital room, where she lies in a coma, to get the evil thing that is latched onto her back, off her.

He finds book seven with the help of the Sallori incarnation in Glastonbury while she waits for a tarot reading. Book eight is discovered somewhere deep inside Southeast Asia's Indochina peninsula where a hidden research facility plays with fire.

While every book fights back with all the power they possess, the last book is the most dangerous and needs all hands-on deck to defeat it, which includes the Salliniquai incarnations and four knights from the brotherhood of the nine. Knights who were sent after Empress Salliniquai when she jumped to earth without authorisation in The Salliniquai Chronicles.
