Writing is a personal matter for me—my escape, my anchor, my method to process what life is throwing at us every day.

I'm twenty years old and was born in Germany. I started writing in German as a little child already. From short stories in grade school to full-length (100-180k words) fanfictions as a teenager.

When I spent my last two high school years abroad, where I studied in the IB Diploma Program and took an advanced English language and literature course, I found my love for the English language. Since then, I have written a self-aid book about anorexia nervosa last summer at 18 and discovered YA fiction, especially feminist romances, as my muse. A First Time for Everything is my first novel but certainly won't be my last. Currently, I am writing a crime novel and have several other YA works in progress. The big goal is to write a book series one day, either contemporary YA or fantasy. Thereby, I want to focus on feminist romcoms that deal with serious but relatable issues for young adults and address what simply needs to be addressed in a world of taboos and hiding.

Apart from writing, I'm a passionate gymnast since the age of four, create my own recipes as a hobby baker, and will soon be a student at Amsterdam University College.
