Born and raised in Germany's northeast, I grew up on a staple diet of sports and books. From The Philosopher's Stone to Inkheart to The Hunger Games, I lost myself in the brilliant worlds writers create in fantasy books and enjoy them just as much to this day. Going to Newcastle, England, for my undergraduate studies in Psychology reignited my love not only for reading but also writing, encouraging me to try my hand at crafting just as immersive and fantastical worlds and characters as the authors whose works I so enjoy reading. When not at work I can be found lost in a good read or eagerly typing with a furry companion (meow!) cuddling aggressively into my side.
