Victorine Lamothe is a Louisiana-born, Paris-based copywriter and poet. She spent 12 years working as a senior acquiring editor in the illustrated-book publishing industry in New York, and her non-fiction culture journalism has been published in Interview, Cherry Bombe, Refinery29, and NYLON, among others. In 2025, she was selected for a residency at Rosemary's House in Greece, under the mentorship of 2x NYTimes–bestselling author Coco Mellors. In the spring of 2026, she began Faber Academy's flagship "Writing a Novel" course with Sarah May and is currently at work on a second novel.
