I grew up in Boston, but I lived abroad for fifteen years. I spent three years in Australia, eleven in Taiwan and one in Japan. While I lived in Taiwan, I published two novels. The first, Jin Village, came out in 2013. The second, Dark Blossom, came out in 2014. I currently live in Los Angeles, where I study screenwriting and work on novels in my spare time.
As a novelist, my favorite genre is horror. As a screenwriter, it's comedy. Loving both comedy and horror may seem strange to some, but I think it makes sense. In my opinion, those two genres are much more alike than most people think. After all, they both come from dark places.
