Pete Waterhouse

I am a freelance copy-editor and proof-reader and it feels as though I have been writing stories to entertain friends and family all my life. When a short story I was writing grew in unexpected ways and ended up at almost 90,000 words, I figured it was time to take things seriously. I signed up for some writing courses, including several at West Dean College, where I was encouraged to do an MA in Writing, which I completed at the University of Warwick. Everything I learnt from the MA and from working on my first few books has been invaluable in writing my crime novel, Crying From One Eye. I have won and been longlisted for a number of writing prizes.
