Born in Plymouth, England, Mark Daniel Taylor is a writer from a working-class family who now lives in London. He is an alumnus of the 2020 New Orleans Writers’ Residency and placed as a finalist in the 2019 Adventures in Fiction New Voices Competition. Between 2020 and 2024, he has been listed in several competitions, including The Masters’ Review Novel Excerpt Competition, The Killer Nashville Award, The Sunspot Lit Inception Writing Competition, and The Retreat West Opening Lines Competition.
