Based on five pages only, it's hard to appraise this excerpt fully. It's currently set out as a shooting script which is a distraction away from the narrative, even at this early stage. Continuous flashbacks don't help either. What we want to see is the start of a discernible story thread that points us in the direction of where we're being taken by the writer. Unfortunately it's too short to work out.
