The premise works well…
The premise works well although I think more could have been created to elicit a few laughs along his journey to self-awareness. Ramp up the stakes a bit more and tease out the moment of acceptance and change a bit longer. Unlike most children's books that have illustrations, I felt these didn't quite live up to the strength of the storyline. Just an opinion.
