Following his father's funeral, Stewart, a divorced and burnt-out corporate accountant, discovers a 45-year-old travel journal detailing a meticulously planned, never-taken itinerary to Thailand. Desperate to escape the crushing routine of his life and honor his late father's memory, Stewart abruptly abandons his demanding career to retrace those exact steps.
As he journeys through the vibrant country, Stewart forces himself to step outside his comfort zone, confronting a persistent, worsening chronic cough that he continuously brushes aside as mere exhaustion. What begins as a dutiful tribute to his father transforms into a profound, soul-searching awakening, ultimately forcing Stewart to re-examine how he values his time and what it truly means to live in the moment.

It skims along like a shooting script and it feels at the expense of allowing the characters more time to establish themselves and their voices.
