Why Not Her?

The excerpt is well-constructed and on the whole the dialogue works well. Avoid lengthy monologues since they rarely occur in conversation. Tighten up by using abbreviated verb forms, eg. 'I'm sure' not 'I am sure etc. I was waiting for an inciting incident to kick things off but it never happened. A bit more work needed but real potential nevertheless.

Good start, but try to include action tags through the dialogues to show what the characters would be doing on screen.

Interesting premise. Needs to move a little faster.
