The Long Chase

An interesting start, though there’s a heavy reliance on dialogue. Incorporating more descriptive passages could enhance the narrative depth.

When I opened the PDF file, I was disappointed to discover the illustrations (promised by what it has been entered as) are missing! Had they been included, they might have created a more enlivening reading experience. The prose and style chosen for what we expect to be a gripping tale of mystery and intrigue fail to deliver on the promise. While the basic premise feels solid enough, I would recommend a thorough edit, possibly a rewrite, to address the rather dated content, the characters, the dialogue, and the overall use of language which, in my opinion, is primarily responsible for not living up to expectation.

I like this! The characters are cute and the story sounds intriguing.
