In a world where emotions unlock interdimensional portals, two brothers — the logical Joaquim and the impulsive Call — see their quiet lives transformed when their latent powers are awakened by a rising threat. Guided by Felitrix, a powerful and wise portal mage who knows the truth about their past, they learn that their bond is the key to something far greater than magic: a force capable of reshaping worlds.
As Omatrix, a warlord from a corrupted realm, begins to conquer universe after universe, Felitrix reveals the history of an ancient war, and why Joaquim, Call, and their friend JimmyJosh were destined to be part of this fight. But strength alone isn’t enough — it’s their courage, loyalty, and above all, the love they share that will determine the fate of all realities.
Blending fantasy, science fiction and emotional depth, Joaquim and Call is a story of awakening, legacy, and the healing power of love — the one force strong enough to stand against the darkness and restore hope across worlds.

Since this is animation, I'm…
Since this is animation, I'm not sure it really fits easily into the available categories for judging. It's a very niche genre that would obviously appeal to young adults/teens into computer games etc but feels quite out of place here. Good luck with it anyway.
I would like to understand…
I would like to understand better, why it is quite out of place. Thank you so much.
Echoes of Dr. Strange. I am…
Echoes of Dr. Strange. I am a sucker for this kind of stories, and the author has handled the characters well. The premise is awesome.

This is incredible work for someone who is only 14! Well done, Antonio. Some dialogue sounds forced; try reading it out loud or have someone else read it out loud to you. Character introductions should say less about what they look like and more about their personality and context. This source can help: https://www.studiobinder.com/blog/screenplay-character-descriptions-introductions/ .
Also, since JimmyJosh is a single humanoid, write them in as one character. Ex. JimmyJosh instead of Jimmy and Josh. If you give Jimmy and Josh very different methods of speaking, (ex. one could speak in slang while the other is proper), the reader/viewer should be able to tell the difference, kind of like if someone had Schizophrenia.
I hope this is helpful. I wish you all the best!
