Glorious Amateurs #6 - Spymaster

WW2 dramas are usually well-received but it's worth remembering that it's very familiar territory that has given us some of the greatest war movies ever made. The question begs to be answered: what's different about this one? The excerpt rolls along as expected with a dramatic opening sequence that was over almost as quickly as it began. Slow down and allow the reader to become engaged with the characters. Trim back the dialogue, some of which is quite expositional and could be filtered in in a more subtle manner.
